What it's made of
CHICX pieces are made of premium stainless steel with thick 18K gold plating. They are gold-plated, not solid gold — which is how we give you the warmth of gold at a fraction of the price, for everyday wear.
Plating is a finish, and like any finish it lasts longer with a little care. Here's what helps most.
Keep it dry
Take it off before a shower, a swim or the gym, and let your skin dry after lotion or perfume before you put it on.
Wipe after wearing
A soft, dry cloth after a long day removes oils and keeps the finish bright.
Store it apart
Keep each piece in its pouch so chains don't tangle and surfaces don't scratch each other.
Go gentle
Skip polishes and chemical cleaners — they can strip plating. Warm water and a soft cloth are enough.
Something not right?
If a piece arrives damaged, defective, wrong or missing, tell us within 48 hours of delivery with a photo and we'll replace or refund it. Read the full policy.
